✨ Back in the Studio – Big Dreams or Small Beginnings?
There’s something magical about standing at the edge of a new creative chapter — that moment before the first mark, the first press of clay, the first spark of inspiration that takes hold and won’t let go.
After a season of pause and reflection, I’m so excited to be creating again. The energy in my studio feels different now — quieter, more grounded, but still buzzing with possibility.
As I return, I’m torn between two ideas:
Do I dive back in with a bold, monster piece — 100 x 100 cm — something that demands space and presence?
Or do I begin with a small, gentle start — a 20 x 20 cm mini — something intimate, something close to the heart?
Both paths feel right in their own way. One whispers courage. The other speaks of softness. Maybe there’s room for both.
🌿 About the Clay I Use
For those curious about the materials behind my work, I sculpt using DAS Air Dry Modelling Clay — a medium I love for its flexibility, smooth texture, and natural finish. It doesn’t require a kiln, which makes it accessible for both studio and home artists.
If you're looking to experiment or simply want to try something new, this is the clay I swear by:
